GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Supervises a small group of drivers operating passenger buses which may be specially equipped for the transportation of physically handicapped passengers; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, the duties require the exercise of judgment in supervising a small group of drivers operating passenger buses which may be specially equipped for the transportation of physically handicapped persons.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.
Supervises a small group of drivers operating passenger buses which may be specially equipped for the transportation of physically handicapped passengers.
2.
Schedules and assigns bus drivers.
3.
Instructs subordinates in the use of hydraulic lift in the specially equipped buses.
4.
Checks to insure that vehicles are operating satisfactorily and are serviced properly.
5.
Keeps mileage and service records.
6.
Operates buses as required.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Knowledge of routes within area of operation.
2.Ability to operate passenger buses.
3.Ability to supervise and instruct subordinates.
4.Ability to oversee servicing and repair work.
5.Ability to keep simple records.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Completion of elementary school
and
Two years of satisfactory experience operating motor vehicles and two years of experience operating passenger buses.

Necessary Special Requirement
Continuing possession of an appropriate class, valid Driver's License.
