GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Participates in the activities of infant and toddler children at a child care center; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under direct supervision, the duties involve the use of judgment in caring for infant and toddler children.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Participates in and monitors the activities of infant and toddler children and participates in their care.
2.Feeds infant and toddler children in their classroom.
3.Changes diapers in the classroom of infants and toddler children not toilet trained.
4.Reports any problems observed to the supervisor.

*TYPICAL ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Ability to care for infants and toddler children.
2.Ability to maintain a positive atmosphere for infants and toddlers in the classroom.
3.Ability to observe and report incidents accurately.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Graduation from high school.

NOTE:Satisfactory experience working with infants and toddlers may be substituted for high school graduation on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years.
