| 4. | Instructs electricians and helpers in proper methods and procedures. |
| 5. | Prepares job, personnel, and equipment estimates. |
| 6. | Submits requisitions for parts and equipment. |
| 7. | Prepares and interprets schematic diagrams and drawings. |
| 8. | Keeps work time and equipment records and prepares reports. |
| 1. | Thorough knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in the repair of all electrical equipment. |
| 2. | Knowledge of the New York Board of Fire Underwriters Code and other relevant regulations regarding electrical installations. |
| 3. | Skill in the care and use of electrician's tools and equipment. |
| 4. | Ability to locate, diagnose, and repair difficult defects and malfunctions on electrical apparatus and equipment. |
| 5. | Ability to supervise subordinate electricians and other assigned personnel. |
| 6. | Ability to interpret and work from technical sketches and blueprints. |
| 7. | Ability to prepare accurate estimates. |
| 8. | Ability to maintain records, make estimates, and prepare reports. |
