GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Assists in the operation of a wide variety of duplicating machines, including software activated machines, for the production of graphic arts materials; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, the duties require the exercise of limited judgment in assisting in the operation of a wide variety of duplicating machines, including software activated machines, for the production of graphic arts materials.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Assists in the operation of a wide variety of duplicating machines, including software activated machines, for the production of graphic arts materials.
2.Assists in operating related equipment, including copying machines, poster printing machines, sign etching machines and other equipment.
3.Assists in the maintenance of duplicating machines and related equipment.
4.Assists in performing binding operations.
5.Collates, staples and folds duplicated material, using a folding machine as required.
6.Maintains records of production.
7.Assists in monitoring supplies.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Knowledge of the operation of software activated duplicating machines.
2.Ability to perform routine maintenance to duplicating machines and other equipment.
3.Ability to maintain records.
4.Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Graduation from high school or vocational school
and, either
a..Completion of a course in duplicating machine operation or in the computer field.
OR
b.Three months of satisfactory experience operating duplicating machines.
