GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Supervises the work of caddies, and starts golf play in accordance with prescribed rules and regulations; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, the duties require the use of judgment in starting golf games and supervising the activities of caddies.

TYPICAL DUTIES

1.Registers golfers in accordance with prescribed rules and regulations, and checks greens fees and caddie cart tickets.
*
2.Groups players into foursomes and threesomes, and informs office of waiting time on tee.
3.Checks all players to see that they have proper equipment.
*
4.Regulates play of starting tee by starting players off at proper intervals.
5.Checks applicants for caddie positions for proof of age, and hires, trains, or discharges caddies.
*
6.Assigns caddies to players.
7.Maintains records of rounds made by caddies.

*ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Considerable knowledge of the game of golf, and golf equipment.
2.Ability to work effectively with numerical sequences.
3.Ability to maintain smooth teeing-off schedules.
4.Ability to hire, train, and supervise the work of caddies.
5.Ability to maintain records and prepare simple reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Completion of eighth grade education and, either
a.One year of satisfactory experience as a golf ranger or caddie master,
or
b.Two years of satisfactory experience as a golf caddie.
