4. | Makes emergency repairs to elevators, generators, and other electrical apparatus. |
5. | Performs a variety of preventive maintenance on a variety of electrical apparatus, appliances, and equipment. |
6. | Makes work time estimates, and keeps simple records. |
7. | Performs a variety of non-electrical maintenance and repair tasks, as required. |
1. | Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in the electrician's trade. |
2. | Knowledge of the New York Board of Fire Underwriters Code and other relevant regulations regarding electrical installation. |
3. | Skill in the care and use of electrician's tools and equipment. |
4. | Ability to install, alter, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of electrical apparatus, appliances, and equipment. |
5. | Ability to interpret and work from technical sketches and blueprints. |
