* | 3. | Prepares patients for radiologic examination by explaining the procedure, removing articles such as jewelry through which x-rays cannot pass, and positioning patients. |
* | 4. | Assists radiologist during fluoroscopic examinations, including use of video tapes and spot film cameras. |
* | 5. | Develops and washes exposed films manually and mechanically. |
* | 6. | Prepares and administers solution to render organs to be x-rayed more opaque. |
 | 7. | Assists in the maintenance of records and the filing and dispatching of films. |
| 1. | Considerable knowledge of the methods and techniques of x-ray photography, including the processing and developing of films. |
| 2. | Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. |
| 3. | Knowledge of topographical anatomy as related to taking x-rays. |
| 4. | Skill in the operation and care of the equipment and apparatus. |
| 5. | Ability to take a wide variety of x-ray films. |
| 6. | Ability to position patients properly in order to photograph required portion of the body. |
