GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Learns and assists in performing a wide variety of unskilled duties in governmental and nonprofit agencies; performs related duties as required.

COMPLEXITY OF DUTIES
Under direct supervision, the duties are routine and are designed for those with no prior work experience.

TYPICAL DUTIES
1.Learns and assists in performing a variety of routine clerical tasks.
2.Learns and assists in performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks.
3.Learns and assists in performing a variety of maintenance tasks.
4.Learns and assists in conducting recreation programs and in camp counseling.

FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1.Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
2.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
3.Ability to perform unskilled tasks for which training is being provided.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training and Experience
Participants must meet Federal Job Training Partnership Act eligibility guidelines; i.e., must be resident of Service Delivery Area, a citizen or eligible noncitizen, age 16 or older (14-21 for summer Youth Program), and economically disadvantaged.
